Not necessarily true. The GC parts catalog lists (and has listed for quite a while) three different air suspension parts codes, with associated parts that are available:
SDA - "normal" suspension (what we get here in the U.S.)
SDM - export suspension (European exports and such get this)
SDE - sport suspension
The parts for SDM and SDE suspensions have firmer damping built in. And they are in fact available. I have the SDE coded front air springs and integrated shocks as well as the rear shocks (the rear air springs remain the same) installed on my Overland and they ARE firmer and more "sporty" so to speak (however you define sporty on a vehicle that weighs as much as a tank that is
So it'll be interesting to see if they're just using coils on the HA version or one of these setups allowing for them to use the air suspension. I'm curious.
