Has there been any final answer on if there will be a regular Altitude for 2016?

There has been no answer posted here to that question that I'm aware of.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I'm still patiently waiting for a real photo of the HA. Pretty ridiculous that Jeep hasn't released one yet (especially when the vehicle is already in PRODUCTION).

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

It has been finally added to the Jeep site. Very little info on it though.

Atleast theres a photo of it. But basically (per the description) its an Overland with Adv. Tech Group just with the Summit bumper and altitude coloring.

It looks pretty good, but I kind of prefer the hooks in front instead of the summit bumper. Makes the vehicle look more bad ass and capable (even if it is only used on road)

I like it but you are right. The Overland bumper would have been much more sportier. Dark chrome tow hooks. But I guess they needed something to set it apart from the Altitude. The only part that they should have done differently in my opinion is to either have the all exterior accents be dark chrome or black. Not both.

It's baffling to me that they did that.

Ehh I kinda see what you guys are saying, but then it would more or less look just like the current altitude model. I think they made the right choice using Summit bumpers with "black chrome" accents, especially with the rear and the black summit exhaust tips. Not only that but the Summit parts have the better fender flares. Atleast this will differentiate it from just another Altitude.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I believe it makes sense to have the summit bumpers. Even though there isn't much sporty about the summit, it's bumper is. It looks very similar to the SRT. So now that they have a true Sport model (that's not an SRT) it makes sense that they used that bumper.

I agree. I just wish they would have gone with the summit rim in black.

Skunkd, I'd be happy with what you've got. The work you did has your JGC looking killer! Best non-SRT I've seen yet.
