Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Put some black chrome 20x9 Spider Monkeys on the High Altitude, and it will be an SRT minus the 6.4L. I'm really loving this new edition. I may have to trade in the 2011 Overland in early 2017 after FCA shakes out the cobwebs and possibly offers some other wheel options. I'm with everyone else on the chrome window trim. They should offer an option of black chrome, or simply use the current Altitude black already produced. No reason to have a "murdered" look, albeit shiny black chrome, with a full chrome anything. Just my opinion. I'll take mine in Billet Silver with the 5.7 Hemi please!

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I know my opinion is not shared by everyone and that is fine, but I don't think I could live with the interior of the High Altitude with no ability to get rid of that blasted bronze bezel trim (no non-black interior option)! The bronze trim blends perfectly with my Sienna Brown/Black interior, though. What were you thinking Jeep! Granted, I do prefer the exterior of the Overland, but I prefer the interior of my Summit and that is where I spend my time when driving the vehicle.

Any pics? My HA will be here in 2 weeks and I have no idea what the interior will look like. Lol.

The photos I saw of the interior (page 2 or 3 of this thread) show the silver bezel - not the bronze bezel. So I think you may be incorrect.

I really liked seeing that.

I'm sold. The bronze was going to be a deal breaker for me too.

It's hard to tell but the more I look at that interior pic, I wonder if they are using the black chrome in there too. Check out the door handles specifically. Might just be the rendering, but if that were true, I think it would look awesome.

My biggest issue, regular Altitude or High Altitude - why bother getting rid of the chrome or blacking out all the chrome but keep the chrome window trim. Who signed off on that?!?!

New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I like everything about the high altitude package except for the silver interior trim being standard. That should be an option for anyone who prefers the rose gold and so should the suede seats that are standard with the Altitude.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Obviously this is all personal preference and doesn't matter anyway since its not up to me, but I'm a fan of the bronze/goldish interior trim as well. IMO it makes the interior look much richer and all around more comfortable to be in. However, since we are talking about the High Altitude edition that is more of a sporty look, I think the silver probably will all around match better. On a regular Overland or Summit, that bronze/gold all day long!!

So I am assuming some HA models have been built by now. Are plant employees not allowed to take pics or something? You would think something would show up by now instead of the stupid artists renditions that we have now lol.

Hah! We all have our preferences. The black interior itself would be a show-stopper for me.

According to Milous it's silver. The Jeep site also shows it as sliver.
