Maybe Jeep is going back to these style rims for 2016 on the Overland trim because for 2016 the Overland will also have the option for the summit style rims. I really hope that the 2015 HA is foreshadowing of what is to come on the 2016 Overland.. Hmmmm…

I'd be really, really surprised that it would be a one shot deal, considering the HA supposedly will continue for the next model year. I can't verify anything...I'm just a community member like you.

Order and production dates for JGC MY16 "anything" is documented by Milous already...those are the dates that have been indicated to him...and he's an "insider". They are subject to change. While it's certainly possible that Jeep could decide to extend a color, I wouldn't count on it as it would be atypical behavior. I personally would appreciate if they offered some new, less mundane colors...such as some of those offered on the Wrangler. Not likely, unfortunately...
Thanks Jim, I'll know Monday if Jeep will extend the DC red.

Ya let us know as DC Red is not in Milous' exterior colors for MY16 but Red Velvet Pearl is, with late availability.

That is correct its a full leather wheel.

Unfortunately I do not recall, however looking at the picture I do see some reflections on the wood so maybe its a glossy black wood. Im sure we will be getting more pictures anytime now since they are on the lots.

New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

^^I have to agree. And I think in person it will look even better. The Summit (due to the body kit) tends to be subjective in pics, IMO.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Jeep must've had a ton of left over '11-'13 Overland wheels they felt like throwing in the mix for this HA.

Why would they go back to the old style??? Not that I don't think they look good, just a silly thing to do.

I think maybe they realized the wider spokes on the '11 - '13 Overland wheels look better than the '14 - '15 Overland wheels with the fender flares on the High Altitude. I hope they use these wheels for the 2016 High Altitude as well.

How about these? They were testing these out at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab a couple years ago. They were 20 inch rims but I guess they decided against them.ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1438884879.326058.jpg

I would've loved to see those being made. It'd make more sense than going back to the older style, to me at least.
