Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Interesting, the HA doesn't have the (black)chrome strip on the side skirt like the Summit does.

It's a cool idea in theory, but I don't think they came out all that great. I'll have to agree with most of what tristar said above, at least about the looks of it. If I was buying one now, I'd just go with the Summit Cali/platinum edition or whatever it's called. I want body colored mirrors/door handles and brushed trim instead of chrome everywhere.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

The HA def. looks more like a high-end Altitude. A cross between the SRT and Summit trim based off the Overland...hah. Just got a 2015 Altitude in July and am happy with it so far. Not sure if it's justified to pay $7k - $10k more for the HA. Maybe I'll wait till the end of 2016 to trade in for a HA if my payments are slightly similar.

^^Unfortunately I doubt your payment would be similar to a HA

My feelings exactly. I'm back on the Summit train.

That is correct, the HA uses SRT side skirts that do not have the chrome strip. So even though I still think the HA looks good, you guys are definitely right, the HA is literally a Grand Cherokee parts bin delight. It literally has parts from every model made lol. Laredo, Overland, Summit, and SRT. Its as if they realized that they really need the Altitude look, but based off a higher end model, and the bosses said do it using whatever parts we already have laying around. I know that may sound bad, but I still like it and if I were in the market right now the HA would probably be it. I think they delivered a good all around package to make everyone happy. I will say that after seeing the HA in person a couple times now, you for sure notice the different accent colors and as already mentioned especially on the back. The bumper step pad is gloss black, and the lower black chrome trim does clash as they are literally inches away from eachother, but IMO doesn't look bad, just a little unusual at first glance.

I was able to take pictures of white, silver, and black. They did not have red in stock. Hope these pictures help you guys out. I know everyone's opinion varies, but overall I think the HA is a sharp looking vehicle. I saw one parked next to a Laredo based Altitude and the HA for sure looks more significant and all around "meaner" if you will. Each color looked really good and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. Unfortunately, none of the HA's have been prepped yet some some still had wrapping on them, but I think the pictures turned out pretty good with my iphone 6. If anyone has questions feel free to ask.

First pictures are of black. Dont forget to click picture for FULL SIZE!

God it looks so bad. Anyone spending that much money on that halfassed piece of work is just encouraging their horrible design decisions.

The more pictures I see of the HA the more I wanna puke in my mouth. It makes me so dizzy as to what the hell they were going for. Whatever it was its an epic fail.

Great thanks for the contribution

It looks pretty cool in person and for sure more of a serious looking Jeep than the regular Altitude.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Thanks for all the pics JT.

Billet and White def stand out from the other colors and look the best to me. Now that I have seen more picture of it, the HA looks pretty sharp.

Now I'm torn between upgrading to a platinum series Summit or the HA. The deciding factor will probably be the interior. I could always turn a Summit into a HA

New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I would take my altitude any day over one of those, solely on looks alone. Not feeling it at all.

Just my opinion.
