Your Just not a fan of real leather I take it? The HA is a different league, it's not a laredo with black rims and badges. I think there trying to appeal to a different audience then the altitude buyers. The HA is sporty yet still classy. I just showed 5 people in my office the side by side pic and all 5 picked the HA knowing nothing about either. There is nothing better about the regular altitude except the price.

Yeah I was gonna say, I'm pretty sure you aren't turning anything into an SRT order for only 10K more lol. Might wanna double check those numbers.

Again, all personal opinion, but after seeing them side by side you can tell they are on a different level. It's hard to explain but the presence of the HA looks more expensive and classier I guess you can say. But that's to be expected as its a higher end model. Like all new models the haters here will all warm up to it and I promise you a few of them will own an HA sooner or later lol. I remember all the haters of the refreshed '14+ body. Now it's one of the hottest looking SUV's out there.

That body kit never poses well for pics, IMO. But I bet in person, even more so going down the road, it will look really good. Don't kill me cause... I like it!

Lol the majority of people knocking it are Altitude owners and those with buyers remorse. The truck is hot. There will be a different attitude here in a few months when there on the road.

High Altitude with Hemi MSRP: $53,380
SRT(base-well equipped) MSRP: $64,895

I assumed it was going to be much more of a difference.

I also made the mistake of letting the salesman convince me to take one for a test drive. It was all over after that.

Thanks for the pics JTS97Z28.

I like it a lot. If it looks good in person to my eyes, I plan to get a 2016 HA Brilliant Black Crystal 4x4 with 5.7L V8 Hemi and 19 speaker Harmon Kardon!

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Well I never even considered getting a regular Altitude over my Overland. But had these HA editions been around several months ago, I'd have seriously considered one (especially one in White).

However I'm not considering trading in my Overland for one of the HA editions.

New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I am certain the luxury difference is noticeable between the Altitude and HA. There would be no reason to try and compare the two based on the mere target audience. If I was shopping for a Overland or Summit then the HA would also be in the running. If I'm comparing an Altitude with Laredo or Limited then there would be no reason to include the HA.

A price point around $40K? No HA. If I have a price point of $50K then I would've been in a Overland or Summit (or in this case an HA).

As far as I'm concerned the new chrome black looks off for some reason.

I am curious what makes this such a personal issue for you that you need to defend the HA with multiple posts and a survey with 5 coworkers...

The HA is a really nice truck, but I prefer the non-summit bumpers and regular suspension. And I am not a huge fan of the black chrome or piece meal trim. It's ok, life will go on....

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

^^ I won't answer for trans damm, but I was sort of defending it because I'm probably the only person in this thread who has actually seen it in person. I think people were kind of jumping the gun with their negative comments. Atleast wait to see the thing in person before people were throwing out comments like "puke in their mouth" or "it looks absolutely terrible" etc etc. I have seen it in person and I guarantee in the not too distant future those same guys are gonna be drooling over this thing...or driving one themselves lol it looks pretty bad ass in person is all I'm gonna say ;-)

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I think maybe it's the wheels that kill it. Black chrome trim everywhere, but gloss black wheels. Why the discrepancy? My Summit has chrome trim and chrome wheels. Cali package has brushed trim and brushed wheels. I think the black chrome SRT wheels on the HA package would make it perfect.
