I'm sure that when they are available any dealer will be happy to take your current vehicle in trade, just so you can stop kicking yourself.

If you can get one with the HK stereo upgrade I'm sold. If you can't, I'm still probably sold on one.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I'm really diggin this new High Altitude Edition, the only problem for me is that even though it's based off of a well equipped Overland, I'm not so sure I could give up some of the features the Summit has. Hummmmmm

I know right.. You even put those rims on your Summit lol this pretty much is what you wanted all along. I don't think you'd be giving up much. I'm sure you can get the HK stereo and the 15 Overland has the same amount of acoustic glass as the 14 Summit. The only thing, IMO, would be getting use to the more firm seat cushion. You could do without eyeball washers and adaptive headlights (or whatever they're called).

Same feeling here but now I'll be able to hopefully mode the Summit that much easier especially with the black exhaust tips that now match the Summit style exhaust and not need to worry about getting the exhaust powder coated. Also looks like the front bumper is Summit like so hopefully the fog light bezel is swappable too.

Believe me, I'm running the numbers. I've made some mods that I'd have to remove to trade in the Jeep. The hardest part would be walking away from the lifetime maxcare, but I guess I could cancel that... lots to think about.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

As I said before, Wow!......but....Still for the life of me cannot figure out why (I know it's a money thing) they murder it out 99% EXCEPT for the window trim. Is there anyone on the planet that thinks it looks "proper"?

Thats a good point and i was thinking about that as well. It appears there will be more factory interchangeable part options for us now. LOVE the black chrome look of some of the Summit parts that are normally bright chrome. So us Summit guys could technically get the complete High Altitude look, but would definitely require a decent chunk of change if you change everything out. Things start to get pricey when you're talking about headlights and tail lights, wheels, etc etc.

This looks EXACTLY like what I wanted Jeep to create. An Altitude Package built on the Overland (hell... I think I even posted something to the effect several months ago!).

Next thing you'll announce an Off Road capable SRT/Trackhawk edition!

SCREW YOU MILOUS! SCREW YOU LONG, SLOW, AND HARD!!! J/K

Now I've got to figure out how to afford and justify trading in my Brand New 2015 Overland for one of these beauties.
