And agreed, it's not identical but clearly they replicated it from the srt

I've got a clue. Damn man. I'm just saying, I don't care where the idea came from. The only thing the same is the usage of suede. And they didn't even use it the same places...

Bahahaha. I don't care about where the idea came from! Just stating the seat isn't the same in the Altitude as it is in the SRT. Not the bolstering. Not the design. Not the leather.

LMFAO!

I come back in this thread and you're still on fire, Skunk. Keep it coming - fantastic entertainment.

Did you forgot to mention that you've only seen one Summit in your life, and that it was a 45 year old women driving it?

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I'd have to agree with older women/men driving Summits.
SRT8's I've seen are men in their upper 30s/lower 40s.

As far as Alcantara/Suede inserts they've been used in European sport models for years. It's not something new that Jeep pulled out of their hat.
I've had them in previous cars and actually prefer them over leather.

The "suede" in the altitude is not even in the same universe as Alcantara. It's closer to plush in a corolla then Alcantara.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I wish the suede was an option in all the Jeeps. I'd personally take it 10/10 times, and would absolutely prefer that over the full leather in my Limited. Still breaking in the 2015 seats, but the ones in my 2004 looked horrible after a few years. I've debated actually getting some seat covers to try and keep them in somewhat good condition moving forward

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

This thread has turned into a massive, mud slinging bitch session. Oh, since I am 46 and drive a Summit, I might wear my wife's dress to work since only ladies drive Summits!

No idea how the 2015 HA looks anything like a WK1 SRT8 lol.

ForumRunner_20150812_235718.png

Front bumper on an 06 wk is the same idea as the HA. Back then the piece in the center was black, now its black chrome. Same idea. Back then guys painted the trim bodycolor...which is the point alot of us are trying to make that this truck, once someone gets their hands on it can look sick. And....the only reason an altitude even exists is because of this forum...Scott, back me up on that. We were blackin out our trucks back then before any oem model from the factory and all of the hype caused jeep to fill the need with something like the altitude. So everyone thank jeepgarage!! Haha
