I wonder if the 2015 and the 2016 HA wld be different? And why so late in the 2015 HA model?

I just got mine 2015 Altitude last week. Don't know if I can justify the $7k diff for the HA unless it's the same payments.

Can always trade in down the line as any dealer wld be happy to do it.

Well you can review what Milous indicated about what's new with the 2016 MY. If you want a 2015 version of the HA you would miss out on the following (if they appeal to you):

New: 3.6L engine, "Pentastar upgrade" (PUG) with electronic Stop/Start system (290 hp @ 6,400 rpm 260 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm)

New: Acoustic windshield added to Limited models

New: Configurable Drive Modes (SRT)

New: Electric power steering (all models)

New: Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus

New: In-cluster Off-Road display pages

New: Park assist system with Stop and Release

New: Redesigned shifter

New: Transmission oil heater

Nice. This is exactly what I want. Something to look forward to! But agreed - the window trim still looks 'blah'.

Seriously considering trading in the X5 for this.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Seriously considering as long as there's a Trail Rated Off Road Package with limited slip differential available for this gorgeous edition. Am I asking too much for dark wood steering as well to match? 😎👍

Since its based off Overland you "should" b able to get Quadra-Drive ll (ELSD) with the 4x4 V8 or Diesel as you can on the regular Overland....unless they restrict the option for product marketing segmentation reasons...

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

LOVE THIS. I just wish it had the overland front fascia and not the summits. I am not a fan of the summit front end, I much prefer the Overlands. Still beautiful though.

And now you can apparently scratch the QDll w/ ELSD as an option.....still a very interesting and sharp combo...

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Thank you, I know I've repeated this question in Milous' latest thread, it's quite possible it may be too soon for him to divulge everything or may not even know himself just yet. Yes I'm certain the ELSP will be included. I don't see any wood steering in the photo, which leads me to believe they're keeping it sportier and leaving certain features to the Overland, perhaps I'm incorrect on this one, but what I am hoping for the most is that it is available with the Trail Rated Off Road Package which of course includes the skid plates, tow hooks, etc. For me I'm on a die hard Jeep fanatic, and only like originals. Without that Trail Rated Badge, I feel like The Emperor's lost his New Clothes Thanks again for any insight Milous or anyone here in this thread may have for us.

Will it have a tow receiver?
