Different strokes for different folks. Enough with the "this is better" or "those are pointless options", or "anyone with an Altitude will now be disappointed they didn't wait". This thread has transformed into a worthless pissing match. Can we please stop and put it back on track with informational aspects. Thanks.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

There have been a lot of complaints about where this thread has gone lately and I personally share that sentiment.

Folks...everybody has different likes, needs and decision making priorities. The HA may or may not be "the one for you", but it's still a very nice JGC. Let's get this discussion back on understanding the HA offer, rather than the verbal sparing that's degrading the conversation. Please.

Agreed!

And back to the topic...

A few months ago (right before I purchased my 2015 Overland) I saw what I thought was a modified Summit one night at the Irvine Spectrum in SoCal. It was Granite in color but it had what I thought was modified chrome pieces. In fact, I thought they looked like Black Chrome.

Was it possible that I saw a test mule for these HA edition vehicles?

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

Had my local dealership place an order for a white HA today. There aren't ANY white HAs enroute and I emailed 4 dealerships (they all told me the same thing).

Same salesman I bought my '14 Overland from placed the order.

No deposit needed but it's got my name on it. I'll only go forward with the deal if the price is right and they'll give me what I want for my Overland.

As it stands right now, I'll give it a 85% chance that I'll drive it home (whenever it eventually comes in). They gotta be willing to work with me.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

I got my HA over the weekend. Really great ride. My wife has a 2015 Limited. I would say the drive is comparable, but certainly a lot of features over a base limited. Other than the chrome trim around the side windows, I think it's great. The black chrome is different, just think they should have made all the chrome black chrome. Mine has zero options, but didn't feel like waiting for another 4-6 weeks for the stereo upgrade. Overall, I'm pleased. It does blend in with the other Altitudes from a distance and to the average person if that matters to someone.
