If it makes you feel any better, the Summit and SRT models do the same startup sequence of the non-adaptive HID headlights. In other words, when you start the Jeep, they only cycle up and down and not side to side during the startup sequence.

If they did, it would probably look like the Jeep was rolling its eyes, as in, "Aw jeez, to the mall again?"

Lol that's funny. My VW CC did the whole cycle when you'd start it, but it belonged at the mall. It was a lame car.

Lol that sucks. The air suspension on this car is garbage so I'm not surprised... Keep us posted on the outcome

Garbage? Why? It's actually the same system used in the Mercedes ML/GLE vehicles.

Not sure how you know since you don't have a vehicle equipped with the air suspension. I've never had an issue with it and I put 50k miles on my '14 and I'm at 7k miles on my 15 with no issues.

It rides like shit. I chose a vehicle without it on purpose. I test drove many of them and have friends that have the air ride and they are extremely unstable over uneven roadways at highway speeds... They also clunk and bang over anything in offload 1 and 2 settings because there wasn't enough suspension travel allowed by the engineers who developed the system. They feel very floaty and dangerous to me on bumps on the highway and well as you can see more than a handful of people have issues/errors that arise because of it.

I wanted to love it but the system wasn't for me. That and I knew I would either be lifting or lowering my WK2 so that system was automatically on my list of things I didn't want.

Re: New: 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude Edition

It was a bit floaty at first for my taste but I got use to it. I was hoping the HA would have some kind of modified air suspension. It would be near perfect it was adaptive.

So in other words, YOU are trying to justify and rationalize your decision to not get the Air Suspension. And you further decided to bad mouth a system that YOU have little to no direct extended experience with.

I had no problems and loved the overall ride of my Quadra-Lift equipped 2012 along with my 2015.

But... haters gonna hate.

Yea pay more for a suspension that rides worse and can't be customized? I'm not trying to justify my choice it was the easiest decision I ever made. Clearly I've been in and test drove/borrowed plenty since 2011 with QL. It's the worst air suspension I've ever driven out of all my cars/suv's in the past

But you have the Pentastar V6. The worst combo, most unreliable of the offerings. It goes two ways here. It's whatever really, you troll all over here with your obnoxiously bold arrogant opinion. Give it a rest.
