Thank you Milous for this GREAT service![emoji106]
Definitely is, even if it was mandatory registration fee, it would be priceless, in all reality you could get more info here then out of a manual and for pennies a day... you can't beat it.
I am a level II supporter and I have a VON and a VIN for the overland I ordered how do I
Find out from milous the status and get a sheet for the car? I really need to be certain of the details like quadra lift?
Its a great feature and I always recommend it, over the past fews days especially as we have had many new members, I have pmed a few new members as well as posted in threads, most people don't know about it, or are site supporters and dont know about the customer tracking. Most jump on the bandwagon as soon as they hear something which brings hopes to getting their vehicle know about!
Ordered the jeep last week, just signed up to show my support. This site has incredible info and was really helpful in narrowing down my purchase - thanks!
Just had my order entered by dealer for '11 Limited. Ordered 2 weeks ago, ACC package just became available to order this week. Anyone know how soon VON is available after dealer enters order?
Usually a VON becomes available as soon as the dealership enters the order into the computer and submits it to Chrysler. I got mine on Monday, went to the dealership on the previous Saturday, so 2 days for me. You wont get your VIN until it goes to D, which might be a little while since the TECH package is probably on restriction as its not being made yet.
Dealer ordered my Limited early last week. I called Chrysler, gave them my VON. I was told there is no information yet, will be 3-4 weeks before they can see the order in their system. Is this normal
Other folks could probably chime in on whether it's "normal," but it's not unheard of. I ordered on 7/2, got the VON a couple days later, but Jeep customer service could never locate it in their system until it finally hit D1 status and I got a VIN on 8/2.
Hopefully, this week (it's currently at a rail depot about 45 mins away waiting to get loaded onto a truck). I'd wager you won't have to wait as long, though. There were substantial delays w/ early Overland orders (most folks waiting 10-12 weeks plus), but more recent orders have been shipping much quicker (more like 6-8 weeks, with some as short as 4 weeks).
