Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

I called the Customer Support line this morning (6-20) and was told one system was not updated for some reason but another one showed my truck scheduled for build 6/22. This is exactly in line with the 18 day average from D1 to KZ.

My worries that they 'forgot' about scheduling my Jeep were unfounded.

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

Hi,
I am not able to go to a level 3 as paypal is the only payment method I can see on here and I have 'PayPal issues".... long story not worth going into.

I have a JGC 2014 Limited, AHN, ADG, RA4 black forest green, black leather on order (ordered 5/24) that hit production scheduled 6/3. It had an estimated delivery date of 6/22. Does anyone have any addition insight to the time lengths that Jeep is averaging? When I called the center the lady couldn't even give me a revised estimated ship date. I have to keep my miles under a certain amount on my 2008 or it will cost me $500. I commute 110 miles to work and its starting to get tight even with me really pulling back on driving.

Also, I saw some posts on getting better deals. I have the Affilate program and all of the dealers ( i visited 4)said that really the only thing I can get a difference in price on is the trade in. Are there other things I should be driving down the price on?
Cheers

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

My limited has a D1 date one day later than yours and is scheduled for production tomorrow 6/22. Looks like it can take from a few days to a couple of weeks to ship it from the factory to your dealer. Depends, among other things, how far away you are from Detroit. Where are you?

Looking through the MOTS data, it can take from a day to a month to get the truck to a US dealer.

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

Thanks @Mcdenny. I am in Pittsburgh (200 miles from the plant). I actually wanted to pick it up at the plant and they won't allow that. If i was in SE Michigan, I would be even more flustered by that.

I called the center today and they insisted that they have no updates on when it will go to production. They just said, as they did two weeks ago, " All the materials are here to bulld the unit and it will go to production soon. When i informed them that the estimated ship date was 6/22 they said they couldn't see that on their records. Just a bit flustered I suppose. Then I saw your post, and thought "Hmm i wonder what system they are looking in at the Jeep customer service center".

I guess I should check tomorrow and see if it moves to production...
Thanks again for replying

The call of Milous tracking was too great. I had to sign up and lend my support. This really is a fantastic site loaded with information. I have learned so much about our new jeep and I don't even have it yet.

Limited 4x4, Deep Cherry Red, Moroco Black, 20's, LuxII, Adv Tech, w/ Nav, 5.7

Thanks again for replying

I emailed Jeep on Tuesday morning, no reply by Thursday morning so I called and got the 6/22 build date. Later that morning I got a reply to my email saying 'no date yet bla bla bla'

It's 6/22 so I hope it actually gets assembled today. No word on MOTS or VOTS yet.

I had a similar problem. The second email telling me that my jeep was scheduled for production said it could stay in that status for up to two weeks. I ordered over Memorial Day Weekend. When a little over two seemed elapsed from the date of the email I called jeep customer service and they told me that I was in frame status. I don't know all of the codes, but I was specifically told frame.

I told my wife which made her very happy, but she wanted to hear the words for herself so she called back that afternoon and was given the same update as you. "We have all the parts but we haven't started yet. Vots hasn't changed since the first email I got on 5/30.

I just wish we knew for sure. We have been down to one vehicle since the accident back in feb.

Well I know for sure now... Milous posted an update and I have moved from D1 to I. Now I just have to wait for inspection to be completed before I can begin the next phase of the waiting game.

Order placed 5/24

No significance that I can see or figure out. ETA's will eventually appear for the majority of vehicles.

Well 6/22 has come and gone with no change in MOTS or VOTS.

My old car is going to a new garage tomorrow so I hope the new truck gets built soon. A plus is my dealer is only 50 miles from JNAP. Hope Marlon and Chevy are getting triple time today.

Mine might be one of the 4 mentioned with no ETA and D1 status of 06/16. Stopped by my dealer yesterday and he looked something up on his computer and said he would expect delivery the 3rd or 4th week in July. I am in no hurry as I have my 2011 Limited. Al
