My old car is going to a new garage tomorrow so I hope the new truck gets built soon. A plus is my dealer is only 50 miles from JNAP. Hope Marlon and Chevy are getting triple time today.
Congrats on finally making it out of d1. Probably a day or two in inspection then off to the holding staging lot!

I spoke too soon, the truck rolled off the end of the line at 10:55 PM last night so it did get built on 6/22 just like the Chrysler lady said.

I now know how you all felt, watching your new truck sit in D1 for a few or several weeks and then on the nth refresh of the tracking thread, THERE IT IS!

Thanks, Milous.

Last update shows it at visual inspection in the wood haven yard at 6:00 AM this morning. (Do they really ship the vehicles all the way down to Woodhaven for final QC and loading on car carriers?).

Anyway hope to pick it up by the end of the week.

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

Hello everyone, this is my first post but have been lurking on this site everyday for months for updates on the diesel.

I finally gave up and ordered a V6 overland yesterday. I drove a diesel toureg and then a v6 jeep right after and felt like the v6 had slightly more acceleration. I was surprised how much power the V6 has with the 8 speed tranny. I Initially thought the diesel would be quick because of the high torque but it must be mainily the hp that gives the quicker acceleration. I will be doing limited towing so I think the V6 will be a good choice. Anyways I just sent in payment for the tracking via Milous.

I currently only have a VON number. Do I need to wait for the VIN to start tracking?

Nope, VON is all you need

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

Not sure if this is the right thread but here goes... Just rec'd a new email from Jeep this morning telling me I could track my build. I clicked on the link and discovered that my Jeep was in Paint. Problem is that it was there last week according to an earlier email and had made it all the way through to final inspection.

My belief is that they caught something that had to be repaired or there was a paint issue and now it's being repainted. Should I be concerned?

What is your color? My build is Billit Silver and it is shown as in paint today!

Hope we don't get a two tone paint job but then it might be unique

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

Hi, I'm a new member and I am going to upgrade to the level 4 status. My question is what is the difference between Milus build update and the VOTS? Thanks in advance.

Question - looked up on VOTS and am seeing "production scheduled" for the past week. The dealer said estimated delivery is 8/20. It raised the question, from the time it's actually started, how long does it take to complete the build?
