Thumbs up Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

New lifetime member - I've found the information on this site to the the best available, and since I drive Jeeps and don't really see myself driving anything but Jeeps, I decided to take the plunge and support this board. Plus, I've got a new Jeep on order and I want to take advantage of the tracking while I await my new ride/toy/tool!

What exactly does "access to build sheets" mean?

Once a vehicle is built, a build sheet lists just about every item that was put into the vehicle. Much more detailed than a list of options. Milous will send one on request, but you may need to be a level 3 member. Not a bad idea supporting the site anyway as it does provide a lot of information.

Re: NEW Build status tracking By Milous for site supporters

I agree. I have kind of been on the outside deciding if the Jeep was what I wanted but I have gotten enough information already to justify helping to support the site. But I still have a question on this. Is it the same build sheet that I get when I pick up the vehicle? Or do I maybe just get it earlier by getting it here after I send in my VIN?

The dealer can also provide it.

The multi-page PDF factory build sheet provided here becomes available after the vehicle is built. It confirms 100% the features and options that actually ended up on your particular vehicle.

Congrats! I just hit up Jeep chat again to see if my Summit had started the build process - nothing - boo. Said to check back again mid to late next week. Seems some people's rides fly through here while others (like mine it seems) are on a slow crawl. I hit D1 as of 8/4, so hoping to see more movement soon.

I was just wondering because looking at window stickers I haven't seen a single 5.7.

I wonder if Jeep chat has any actual information or just figures they don't want to hear from you more than once a week.

Once the build starts it only takes about a day. Then you get to see how slow it goes from one rail yard to the next. The worst is when it's on a rail car waiting for an engine to catch up with it. But it will all soon be over and you will be busy figuring out what each button and setting does.
