Finally got around to getting a new one. Traded in a 2014 white Overland V8 with 40k mi. Never gave myself or my sister who owned it before me any issues at all.
I got a 2015 Overland Pentastar V6, built 06/15.
Here goes my brief first impressions:
The V6 isn't bad at all. I chose it because I can't stand the way the diesel drives and I need better MPGs because I drive so much. Overall I'm impressed.
The radio controls on the steering wheel don't click all loud like they did on the 14. I like it! Lol
Ventilated seat works hella better in the 15. Maybe something was wrong with my 14. Dunno
My brake pedal feels way more squishy on the 15. Like it!! The 14 was so hard it was almost scary at first when I started driving it.
While the Hemi has a growl and a slight gargle/burble to it, the Pentastar V6 actually sounds deeper and more refined. (From the inside, anyways.)
I did not reset the MPG so it had to rise from like 13mpg that I started out at. Driving through the mountains, not using cruise control and fluctuating speed due to recommended break in. I'm beyond impressed with my MPG, and I'm only 22 so I think I achieved great mileage. I drive with two feet in the floor usuallyImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436646488.923006.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436646512.033097.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436646528.588220.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436646541.560007.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1436646557.484508.jpg
. I didn't even pay attention to the Hemi MPG going there. Sorry..
Overall. I'd rather have the Hemi, but I had it. Trying something new that is fitting the budget better. Because I'd really rather just skip the Hemi and get an SRT... But that's not sensible right now lol
