I want it fixed, but I don't want to waste time bringing it in if it's too soon because the mileage is so low.

I would send it back to dealer. If they say that you need to wait at least you will have it documented.

Let them do the software upgrade and run diagnostics.

Actually most people experience problems AFTER learning procedure and not before. That's why the battery cable pull/reset works for some but for most only temporarily.

Don't wait. Bring it in. Brand new 50k car should not do that.

Re: New Flash 845RE Transmission Quick Learn

UPDATE

So I finally get in contact with Logan from Chrysler Customer Care on Monday after a couple tries on subsequent days (they just changed phone systems he told me), and we have a good conversation about my current 2014 V6 Overland transmission issue, the latest V6 TSB transmission fix, and possible valve body replacement (as well as steering wheel vibration above 60 mph). He was very understanding and patient listening me vent about my first POS early build 2014 V6 Limited as well, and how I lost money trading it in so early for my current later build Overland...he was even receptive to the idea of some sort of compensation for all my troubles. Another interesting fact was he found it odd that most Chrysler/Jeep dealerships in my area did not offer loaners...a sad reality I told him. The conversation ended with me saying this was Chrysler's last chance keeping me as a customer, and him saying he would contact me in a couple days with the name of the dealership in my area that would perform the work as well as offer me a loaner.

Just today Logan left me a voice mail...and here's the kicker...

...he gave the name of the dealership that sold me my first POS 2014 V6 Limited...the original one that I had all the trouble with, including an airbag light WHILE DRIVING OFF THE DEALERSHIP LOT (like they didn't know about that beforehand). The same dealership that gave me three year old 200 loaners that BOTH had warped rotors & smelled like ash trays.

So it looks like I'll be calling Logan again...and so the soap opera continues...

Have you considered moving, dude?
There must be somewhere that dealers don't suck.

It's only the Chrysler/Jeep dealerships in my area that suck.

I've owned everything from Chevy to Pontiac...Nissan to Subaru...and I've never had to deal with the shit service I've received at Chrysler/Jeep dealerships. ALL the other brands of autos I've owned ALWAYS offered a loaner for instance.
