Cool New jeep

A little while back I posed a question asking for help with a decision I was trying to make. I was considering trading my 2014 Laredo and going with the new Cherokee Trailhawk. The general consensus was not to make the trade.

I did finally make a decision and I must say I couldn't be happier. My new Jeep is absolutely a blast off road. I spent the weekend on the trails in Colorado and Wyoming. What fun. Great time with the family.

Which way did I go. Well I am now the proud owner of a lifted jeep. 4" lift with HD Shocks, adjustable upper and lower control arms both front and rear, adjustable track bar, sway bar quick disconnects, stainless brake lines, SYE, 10,000lb winch, custom wheels and 33" Goodyear Duratracs.

What did I end up purchasing. A new to me 1997 Wrangler TJ Sport. Absolutely love it.

FWIW I still have my 2014 Laredo. Just couldn't let her go. Outstanding road manners and capable in it's own right on the trails.

Now I'm set for a while.

Re: New jeep

Damn, that would be a dream to have another older Jeep model and still be able to have the WK2. Wouldn't turn down a Wrangler, but I'd love an older Grand Cherokee too.

Congrats on that come up!

Any pics of the new ride to share with us?

I had a hard time not punching my monitor while reading the first 3 paragraphs! GREAT JOB on the purchase, that sounds like an awesome rig! Glad you kept the Laredo, too! I just can't stomach the thought of someone trading a WK2 for a new Cherokee. That's like selling off a Lambo because you wanted a Hyundai!

Pics of new rig?

Re: New jeep

Congrats and nice choice! I've got a '97 TJ too that's locked lifted and supercharged along with my '13 GC Trailhawk and love them both.
