New Jeep Owner Looking for Advice!

Hey y'all, I currently own a 2012 3.6L Jeep GC Laredo. I have been saving up some money to do a few mods to it.

Basically I want to modify the wheels, grille, and muffler.

For the wheels, I have the Altitude style, but in a gun metal grey, I was looking into getting them powder coated or plasti dipped, then going at them with the glossifier.

For the grille, since i can't find a reasonably priced black grille, i'm more than likely going to go at it with plasti dipped, then glossify it as well. Is it recommended that i take the grille off before plasti dipping? Also, if i plasti dip/glossify the grille, and get the wheels professionally done glossy black, will there be a HUGE difference?

For the muffler, i've been looking at a 50 series flowmaster muffler to get some more growl. Flowmaster 50 SERIES DELTA FLOW MUFFLERS

But i have a question on exactly which muffler is compatible with my ride.

I know this is alot, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

That Flowmaster is nice.

Try the plasti dip on the wheels 1st. The stuff works wonders and is tough as nails.

You might want to browse the specialty forum areas up above for appearance, wheels and engine/exhaust advise and post individual questions in each. There are many threads about each of these things in their respective discussion areas.

Re: New Jeep Owner Looking for Advice!

Jim is right on,go through the threads to get tips and finished projects just to make sure your happy with the look your going for.
Mike is right about plasdip that gives a very sturdy finish and,Ofcourse, easily reversible.
Grille mods can be expensive so understand your problems finding a well priced replacement,so if you do it yourself,I personally would remove the grill to paint it.Others DO mask off everything and equally achieve a great finish,me,I just prefer to remove an item so I can get full coverage with no chance of flaking or peeling down the line.
Whatever you do will be to personalize and put your own stamp on an already very cool ride.Good luck.
