New JGC Summit owner questions. (Canada)

Just picked up my new JGC Summit in granite with black interior and skid plate package.

Wondering if I need to go back to the dealer to have the GPS activated.

Although it works, it seems pretty basic and doesn't seem much different in 3D mode or have much colour.

Also, is there support to be a Scheduled Maintenance book?

Thanks.

Do you mean GPS? Otherwise I can't figure out what GSP is. So if you are saying that your navigation does not work then yes something isn't right and it would probably require a dealer visit.

Thanks, fixed the typo and yes I do mean GPS.

It works, but seems so basic. Like my old Garmin better.

I believe the 3D navigation is only available in certain cities.

As for maintenance, you should have an owners manual. If not, your owner's guide should have a phone number to call to get one mailed. That is the best source of information. The forum is the best place for opinions ... in my opinion.

What you can and cannot do with your Summit NAV system may be dependent on what's allowed/offered in Canada. It wouldn't surprise me that there may be localization differences.
