Hi Everyone,

Just purchased a 2014 JGC Limited 4wd V6 in Cherry Color Sunday. Paid $36,300 + Fees.

So far this is an amazing SUV.

Already Ordered a KN Intake for it.

I want to Black out the wheels and trim next, question is... Door Handles, Trim, Grill, etc is all chrome, Suggestions on Painting body color, Replace?

Thanks,

Excellent choice! I've ordered the same, Limited - Deep Cherry 3.6L 4x4 w/ LuxII and Nav package. Hoping to take delivery in the next week or two.

Let us know how the intake goes.

Cheers!

Great choice... Wish I could tint out here, just gives a clean consistent look.

Congrats on the new GC! Do a search on PlastiDip on this forum; lots of members have had great success in using this product to accomplish just what you're wanting to do. Advantage is that if you screw it up you can just peel it off - same as when/if you're ready to trade it in or sell it, you just peel it off to put the vehicle back to stock. And, it's much, much cheaper than either replacing or painting all those parts.

Re: New Member / 14 Grand Cherokee Owner

Strongly considering 2014 black GC limited. I personally don't like a lot of chrome on a car and was glad to see less of it on the 2014 as compared to 2013. Specifically, I really don't like the large chrome outside mirrors and asked the salesman about what to do. To replace them would cost $1000 ($400. per mirror plus $200. labor). He suggested having a body shop paint them for around $300. Otherwise I really like the new lines. Sharp!
