Re: New member

I have had mine for 7 months and this is mine, and my families first Chrysler product and I love it.

Re: New member

Here is my experience. The title is misleading because I was trying to be funny. Here is a summary, but read the entire post.

Other than gas, I have spent $42 for two oil changes and a tire rotation in 30 months. I have not had a single warranty issue.

If you read all the negative posts on forums dedicated to each manufacturer, your only options will be a bicycle or walking

Update: I am disappointed...

Re: New member

I bought my 2012 JGC Limited a couple years ago, here are the issues I have had. The first problem was it overheated on me at about 18,000kms. Took it to the dealer and they said the coolant ports in the head may need to be larger, solution was add coolant and let me out the door. Then there was clunking coming from the rear of the vehicle. Solution...they changed one shock and off i went. Roughly six months later it overheated on me again and I called roadside to have it towed. It sat at the dealership for 9 days before it was looked at. Solution...changed waterpump. recently I had clunking coming from the rear again. Shocks are back ordered and have to wait. Jeep is bouncing all over the road at the moment as the rear shocks are garbage. I live in northern Ontario Canada, and our roads are not the greatest. I currently have 36,000 kms and am waiting to get the rear shocks changed. Thats where I stand at this point. Ohhh wait I was getting it serviced yesterday and I also can add that the technician told me the Pinion seal in the rear is showing signs of leaking as well as transfer case output shaft.

Re: New member

Lets just put it this way I promised myself I won't buy American cuz of long term reliability issues (as compared to Japanese, I know I can get flamed for this) but the JGC showed me the error of my ways , I am now a proud owner of a Laredo 2014 and am loving it, apart from the cold transmission shifting rough in the first k or 2 she drives and handles better than my galant/380 v6 did, heck the v6 in the Laredo gives me an avg of 3 km better avg in city driving than the mits ever did, not to mention its kit'd out better than any prado or vw is in its price range (Aussie prices that is, AKA inflated) it looks great to boot, so yeah if you're thinking about it..buy it , otherwise there are many more out there
