New Off Road Video....EXTREME

hi

i found this searching some good videos of our WK2 offroad, this for me is extreme (the last part).
I dont understand nothing but the video speaks for itself, from the 14minute it gets interesting.

what do you think? You think you would try this on your NEW jeep?

Re: New Off Road Video....EXTREME

That was pretty cool. It would have had an easier time if not for those lame arsed tires.

Re: New Off Road Video....EXTREME

Ummm, did he not imagine he'd bottom-out rolling over that ledge?? And then get stuck again in that muddy saddle at the bottom?

Yes, more aggressive tires might have assisted in the muddy section at the end, but I wonder if his rear bumper was hanging-up on the down-slope.

Re: New Off Road Video....EXTREME

What a moron, maybe a little quadralift and some better tires would have shown off the WK2 a little better.

Re: New Off Road Video....EXTREME

Seems to me it would need a lot more lift in order not to high side or go nose first into the mud. Tires would help but in this case you would have to be stupid to think the car would get through that with stock suspension height.

Don't think there is a stock 4WD on the market that would go through that.
It would need another 8-12" lift to get over that

Re: New Off Road Video....EXTREME

Wow serious non driver there. He needed to pick a better line so he could have made it over without high centering himself and he needed to carry a little more speed over that ledge and into that clay. He had the steering wheel turned the wrong way the whole time IMHO.
