Some people surely prefer the greasy business of negotating a car price...for the rest of us this is THE choice. 1% below invoice is by definition a fantastic price for a brand new model car. More than fair IMO.
Some employers and other clubs (like if you have a Sam's Club or Costco membership) can get you that pricing as well. My wife works at Walmart; when we purchased the affiliate discount we received was 1% under invoice plus an additional $500 off.
MSRP and invoice prices are easily found on edmunds.com and other sites. That's car shopping 101.
I'm more interested in what you guys are paying compared to the invoice price. Nobody negotiates based on retail (MSRP).

My personal experience was receiving pricing between $1000 below invoice to invoice. There is a thread on what people on this site are paying as well. It should give you a good indicator of the market.
