Hi. Please don't be to crucial/brutal/critical but I may have a stupid question. I'm new to JG and was hoping someone can explain how i can fit 33" tires on a Jeep Overland 4*4, if at all possible.

Also, are the 2.5" lifts available for a jeep with a Quadra-Lift?

Again, sorry for the noob questions.

Well, n00bs don't search, do they ? There's no crime in asking, but some things have just been covered many many times. In fact some are active topics in the dedicated forum.

There's no lift kit for your Quadra-Lift suspension. Period. Done.

However you can fool the Quadra-Lift to permanently operate at higher settings (customizable even) by swapping out the links that dictate the ride height, which may allow you to run tires of a larger diameter. But that's why you search and read the threads.

Just as easily as people use these links to lower your car, you can lift the car by playing with the length of those links. But I have no interest in either so I could not tell you more, well I do want the car lower in aero mode but when doing so you also reduce the ground clearance at the top end (QL-2).

This is all true, and in one of those threads there was one guy who did use the links to raise it. Be advised though, riding with quadra-lift in a raised setting has a TERRIBLE ride and I would not recommend it. Not only that, but the guy who raised his Jeep with the links said that ORA2 height was no longer usable as it continually tried to raise the Jeep but could never achieve the setting, then it eventually gives a warning that the system needs to cool down. In other words, its probably a perfect way to kill your $1500 compressor real quick.
So again, the links can work to raise the vehicle in all settings, but you will have to avoid ORA2 setting, and the ride may suffer substantially. Try driving around in ORA2, you'll see what I mean.

32" is more or less the limit for tire diameter on the JGC without body modifications, etc. Yes, some folks have worked through things a few times, but there are a lot of factors that have to be accounted for to make things work effectively and safely. JGC just wasn't designed for this kind of thing to be easy.

And as noted, if you have QL, the only height modification you can do is some minor adjustment via the sensor links. You can't "lift" the vehicle further. If you want to do that, you'll need to buy a traditional spring version of the JGC, not one with QL.
