Hey fellas...

long story short, my e92 was t-boned on the way to work, was totaled by State Farm, and they afforded me a nice check. Was in euro manual trans cars for quite a while but went a different direction with this vehicle and loving it thus far

'11 WK2 Blackberry Pearl Laredo X, 4x4 3.6

35k miles, CPO through 100k/7 yrs. it was coming off a lease and the prior owner took really good care of it. I love it... Picked it up on Long Island. I'm located outside of Philly.

At any rate, with the bimmer and my S4 before that, I was bit pretty hard by the mod bug, and I don't want to go too crazy with this one, but 20% tint on the front windows is first up, and then in roughly 10k miles i'll need tires... I've been told everything from Cooper Zeon to Nitto Terra Grapplers; basically I want a tire that will wear well (~60 mile per day commute) but look aggressive and be able to hold its own off road, if albeit minimally. I had m/t baja belteds on an old Blazer and the tires were eaten alive.

Other thoughts are C8 Lockpick to unlock the nav/head unit, pipe dreams of retro-fitting WK2.5 headlights (they "fit", just with a gross gap, someone needs to make a filler plate), Altitude grille, some sort of exhaust... magnaflows are pricey but seem well regarded, and wheels and tires at some point beyond replacing the stocker tires.

Not expecting crazy gains from an N/A v6. intake/exhaust would give it a good growl though I'm told, and some more pep

At any rate, just thought I'd say what's up and toss a few pics of the car on here

Congrats on the rig. I have the AT duelers and they are slightly noisier at speed but ride great, last long and can handle what you throw at it..

Just my $0.02.
JW Speaker LED fog lights are a must.
The output is at least 100% better than the wimpy OEM fogs.

Exhaust - go for the V8 dual exhaust, but add in the aftermarket Diablo engine tune/reprogram to reap full benefit. Dual exhaust alone will mean losing low end torque/power.

After reading and researching tires...
Once the OEM 18" Michelins are worn out, I'm going with the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar in the OEM size.
