New TPMS and Wheel

I'm picking up a new stock Overland 20" wheel, Mopar TPMS #56029398AB and GY Fortera tire.

Will the dealer have to program the TPMS system to the new TPMS sensor?

Thanks

Re: New TPMS and Wheel

Not unless things changed in 2012. It will take a few miles, maybe 5 minutes for the monitoring system to reset and recognize the new sensors. I've done this a few times on the 2011 and have never had an issue.

I just did this last night. No problems. Everything worked without any effort by me.
