[QUOTE="2014RedHemiGC;982366"]Build date is on the driver's door jam. Is yours a 2011? This update is for the 8 speed (2014).[/QUOTE

Mine is a 14, I just traded my 11 in last week. If the build date is in January does this tsb apply to me?

Sorry, I was looking at your avatar with the '11. The bulletin says:

This bulletin applies to vehicles built before November 13, 2013 (MDH
1113XX) equipped with a 5.7L engine (Sales Codes EZH).

so if yours is 01/14 it looks like you're OK. Congrats on the '14!

You update your bio by going to this site on your laptop or desktop and sign in. Then click on your site name and you'll see several options that include ways to update your info. You can see it on the mobile site also by clicking on your picture but you can't change any info.

Got the update done. I am happy to report my downshifting issues are gone. I never noticed anything wrong with the upshifting. It was the down that was the issue. Now when I am coasting to a stop the jeep doesn't feel like I am tappung the breaks every time it shifts down a gear.

Good to know. This is the one thing I always felt was wrong with my Jeep, but was always told it's normal. Glad they finally have a fix for that issue, now to see when the dealer can setup time with me.

Here you go bud.

I still notice the shifting but only when I am looking/paying attention to it. But when it does happen it is a normal thing. Not the brake stomping feeling from before. So much happier now.
