Re: New V6 Overland Review Article

Nice review. Although the '14s still haven't grown on me to like them more than my '13 Overland with Saddle interior. I also think it's funny how they love the new instrument cluster and electronic shifter (which were my 2 big reasons for going MY13). Interesting the differences in taste. I did also like the part about mentioning they removed some of the chrome like in the rear tailgate brow (or whatever it's called).

Love the new instrument cluster's ability to reconfigure the gauges to suit the driver. The shifter does take some getting used to!

Yep definitely the functionality of the new instrument cluster is superior. It's got the cool factor with the articulation and angle on the axles/wheels too. I just don't like the needles, they remind me of the ones on my first vehicle (stunningly gorgeous 97 GMC Jimmy hand me down with 300k miles on it).

The new instrument cluster is awesome, but it definitely looks like an after thought. The 2013 RAM integrates the center screen so well, but on the GC it just looks like it was stuck there with minimal thought in regards to the physical gauges.

Having looked at them at the dealers...it isn't as noticeable as the picture makes it, looks like the flash/sun catching the edges of the screen making it look like an ill fit.
