Yup. I'm into 4 weeks of the 8 the dealer told me it would probably take.
Where did you get your winter tire package from?
I was thinking of going to Van Hemmen Tire and getting DM-V1's on 18" aluminum rims similar to yours.

Re: New Vehicle Prep Procedure

I have to say that all that stuff was done on my rig. All my issues has been wit the quality of materials, such as the leather seats and the way that Chrysler drags their feet to make it right.

Love the jeep....

Re: New Vehicle Prep Procedure

couple interesting features...

Locate and install/connect Ignition Off Draw fuse or connector.

What is ignition off draw?

Simultaneously press the "Front Defrost" and "List/Enter" buttons and hold for five (5) seconds. The EVIC display will update once the vehicle goes into customer mode.

What is customer mode?

The first is likely a feature to prevent the assorted vehicle electronics from killing the battery while the vehicle sits in the back of the lot waiting for sale. When we bought my wife's Infiniti, the loaner they gave us for a couple days had a few features inoperable due to having a fuse pulled to prevent exactly that.

The EVIC customer mode is probably not far from that same thing. I don't know what kind of info the dealer would need that the customer wouldn't, but it also sounds like something that isn't fully functional or suited to the customer before final prep.
