New WK2 Overland Owner :) Question for the Gurus...

Hi All,

Just picked up my WK2 Overland (Brilliant Black/Light Frost) yesterday and loving it so far.

Question for you pro's: how can you move the address book that's downloaded from your paired-phone from the default folder to the "in-motion folder" in the HDD so that you can access it while on the move? I've played around with the system in numerous ways and have read through the coles-notes version of the owner's manual (not the full manual -- that's on order) but haven't been able to find the answer...

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: New WK2 Overland Owner :) Question for the Gurus...

According to the 730 manual on page 153 the addresses should be copied to the default folder automatically, by default. Then:

"The In-Motion Folder contains links to entries in the other folders. The In-Motion Folder is the only folder accessible while the vehicle is in motion. This is a safety feature that limits the availability of certain navigation tasks while the vehicle is traveling Touch the In-Motion Folder soft-key and add links to existing entries in the Default Folder, Voice Command Created Entries Folder, or any of the personalized folders."

hope that helps, but seriously just buy the Lockpick then you never need to worry about crap like that, not having access to all features while moving.
