NEW WK2 owner...time to Mod!

Hello all, I'm new here...recently got my first JEEP, a 2011 Grand cherokee laredo. I have a few questions, hoping anyone with experience with these ideas can weigh in...thanks.
Ive decided to plastidip the chrome grille and the chrome rear liftgate trim. should I just mask them off while on the truck? or remove the pieces entirely? Id prefer the latter, but had heard removing the grille is a big deal, having to remove the bumper as well.
Ive also decided on upgrading the wheels and tires. Im going with factory replica SRT8 black wheels in 20x9 with +35 offset. for tires, 295/45R20. I understand this size fits with no rubbing issues, curious if anyone has experienced otherwise. I can opt for Toyo Proxes ST-2 tires, or save $100 by going with Nankang SP-2 tires. The price is negligible...but i'm looking for feedback if anyone has used either tire.
Thanks!

You can plastdi-dip while the parts are on the car, just make sure to remove the tape while the dip is still wet so you don't ruin it. Word of advice on the p-dip, keep the can as warm as possible (you can run it under warm water if necessary), if the can gets cold it will become blotchy.
As for the rims, I'm running WK1 Srt reps front 255/45/20, rear 295/45/20 wrapped in Toyo Proxe St2's with no rubbing or any issues. Im sure there are plenty of great alternative tires if you choose otherwise.

Great thanks Mopar king... im gonna go for the plasti dip as you recommend. For the tires, I like the 295/45r20, I think they are the widest that fit at the stock height of 30.5 inches. There aren't too many options at this size...toyo proxes st2, nankang sp7, or general grabber is about it. What are your opinions about the toyo's?

I'd definitely spend the additional on the Toyos or Generals.

Honestly I love the toyos. The they have great grip in dry and wet weather(besides snow, of course) and wear better than any tires I've had. I personally think that they're worth the extra money, and I know that many srt owners will agree.
