Newbie with a Question on 2015 Altitude Price

New to the WK2 platform but not new to Jeeps. Had owned a ZJ & currently own WJ (180,000 miles & still going strong).

I've been looking pretty hard at the 2015 Altitudes and know that this will be our next Jeep. I'm working with a local dealership that has found the one I want and will do a "dealer trade" for me to get this Altitude.

My question is on the price. He has offered it to me for $35,585 + $279 docking fee which I don't think is too bad, but I told him we would do $35,000 out the door but they haven't budged on that number. They're also offering 2.9% for up to 72 months. With the down payment we have our monthly payments would be under $400.

My wife and I are thinking that there still may be discounts and incentives to be had as we approach the end of the month and end of the year. We think we should wait and see - but the more I look at the Altitudes the more I want
I wanted to touch bases here with those a little more knowledgeable than I when it comes to Altitudes

>>Do I wait or do I jump?<<

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Jump. Ur not gonna find a better deal if it's local to you.

If you want to get in on the DC group buy u might be able to get lower than 2.9% for 72 months but that all depends on your credit. Final Price before tax title and fees will be very similar to the price you posted. I don't expect them to be able to budge at all from that price they offered you now or in the foreseeable future.

That additional, $864 (from my offer of $35k), makes very little difference in our monthly payment.

I may go and talk to them tomorrow morning. Gotta be home before 2:30 to watch the Husker/Wisconsin football game

Sounds good. You definitely should feel confident you are getting a solid deal at that price. Did it take you a lot of negotiating? Good luck I'm loving my 2015 altitude so far. Just hit 1k miles!

Definitely jump! I got mine for 36,800 with the back up/speakers too and that was a whole lot less than I could find elsewhere. I picked it up Oct 16 and love it!

Do you mind sharing the dealership info? I am in Iowa and the best I could find was about $3500 off msrp

I'm looking for the exact same vehicle plus Trailer Tow. The dealer here in a Nashville wouldn't go near your price tonight. I'm ticked off to the point of traveling a long way to get anywhere near your price.

Mine for reference was a
2015 altitude with premium sound, backup cam and sensor, and trailer tow package for 36,300 through the DC group buy.

Not sure what the current incentives are but its worth the trip to northern Virginia for the price in the group buy. Check out the DC group buy thread.

Re: Newbie with a Question on 2015 Altitude Price

Skunkd those are the exact options I am wanting. With the DC group buy was it $36,300 plus $499 fee. Freight included in that? The dealer I am working with wants $37321 plus $200 doc fee. Atitude I would take the deal and then let me know what dealer it is. Would be nice if someone did a midwest group buy.

Newbie with a Question on 2015 Altitude Price

Ok my exact numbers are...

36,286.74 - 7% below invoice.

Processing fee went up to $599 in October when I picked it up, but when I showed up Nader applied a 500 dollar factory rebate to the price

So it ended up being 36,385.74 including the group buy fee, incentive, and yes freight included in that.

Just add tax title and fees to that for your specific state. My local dealers wouldn't budge so I told them off and went straight to Nader I wasn't even expecting a 500 dollar factory rebate to be applied and without me saying anything he just took it off the price. I've never felt at such ease and nothing ever felt like a scam, nor did they push anything on me.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with the DC group buy. They have an enterprise rental office on site at the dealership so I rented a car one way to them and dropped it off there and drove my new jeep home. I'd do it again and will definitely be using then again in the future! A long day but in the end I am happy.

Go Huskers! I think Brilliant Black is the best color, especially for the Altitude, but get what you like obviously and enjoy. I like Billet Silver too and have seen that color on the Altitude and it looks great too.
