EDIT: Ok, my order was for a 430n as the 730n was unavailable on Sep 16th when I ordered. My build sheet shows a 430N. I was not charged for a 730N. Guess what? I just noticed the model code RER is the 730N!
Finally, a f***up in my favor
Yes, I absolutely have it on my 430N. When you press the menu hard button, a soft "Sirius Traffic" button comes up, and I can view the logs of traffic messages related to my route (accident, construction, etc). On the same screen is an option to turn on Dynamic Routing. When a new traffic alert comes in during active Navigation, the unit says something like "Recalculating your route due to traffic conditions".
My application version is: 2.201
Database: D3 R521N 1004 33.3
System: 3.8 6816009
What version do you guys have that is missing Sirius Traffic?
As to the Overland itself, it's awesome, and I'll do a full writeup with some pics tomorrow. But first, a warning:
One heads up though. I had a much harsher ride then I was expecting for the frst couple hundred miles, and HUGE amounts of road noise. I thought somthing was seriously wrong.
As it turns out, my tire pressures were all 42 PSI. They are supposed to be 36 PSI (this is for the 20's). I bled off the excess pressure, the road noise went away, and the ride quality was hugely
improved. You might not think 6 PSI would make a big difference, and I didn't think it would solve the problem, but it did. Check your pressures, because my ride was teeth jarringly brittle, and the noise was really, really bad, especially on concrete roads. The sidewall on one of my tires has a split on it now. Coincidence?
Some dealer prep, eh?
