Have you ever noticed when a vehicle goes by you and the next thing you know you hear a crack from a rock hitting your pride and joy? The first thing I do is look at the vehicle that just passed me and 9 times out of 10 guess what? No mudflaps! I wish they were required, it would really save me the aggravation of rock chips. I personally don't mind the look at all, but that's just me.

I agree. There is absolutely no reason why every car can't come with mud flaps. Rocks are bad, but I live near Boston and slush with rocks and salt mixed together is worse.
