How did you get an export version?

What is different on the export version?

Re: No Power Folding Mirrors?

I live in Lebanon I have a similar one as the YouTube video posted by Cherodude in the thread. I guess part of the extra features is the power folding mirrors, auto dim external mirrors. Those are the only features I haven't read about in the threads here.

Also it has front park sensors

Re: No Power Folding Mirrors?

Here in Australia (and many "export" markets) Jeep prices the Grand much closer to rivals such MB's, Rovers, BM's etc that they do in the US, therefore they load them up with features to justify it..... and let's be honest, power folding mirrors WOULDN'T cost them $20 per vehicle to add at build.

I'd be kind of upset that such a simple feature wasn't included on at least Limited up....... it's really required due to these things being so wide, the WK is one of the widest vehicles I've owned.

Re: No Power Folding Mirrors?

Power-folding mirrors have been standard on export models for a very long time, going back to the WJ (an maybe even the ZJ, would have to check).

No. U.S. dealers are restricted from ordering export parts, and the policy is strictly enforced.

Re: No Power Folding Mirrors?

Is there anything (policy) preventing an individual from ordering parts from overseas dealer?
other than cost lol

Yes I would love to have this feature, kind of a bummer that it's only included on exports. I plan on garaging my jeep and auto folding mirrors would be helpful...
