Northern Virginia tire swap?

I expect to order a 4x4 Limited through the Koons group buy later this year. I would like to swap out the Latitude Tours for LTX M/S2's. Has anybody done something like this with a tire dealer in that area? NTB maybe?

You could try asking koons to do that for you when it was brand new before you take delivery. They could possibly be willing since they would be able to use the 18 Tours as they are the stock size. doubt it would be a one for one but maybe try for half cost or something. Also good choice on the LTX M/S2 very good tire

I bought my 2015 Summit at Farrish and tried without success to trade the Fortreras ( worthless) for Michelins and neither dealer or tire stores would bite.

Probably would have to be ebay or craigs list then. Used tire shops give you next to nothing for them

Re: Northern Virginia tire swap?

when I bought my 2012 over a month ago it came with brand new Hankook bs tires and they weren't very good. I bought some Duratracs from tirerack and had a friend install them at his shop (he owns the Meineke in Damascus). I took the new Hankook tires home and have yet to list them for sale on craigslist but plan to do so once I get a little free time. I know I won't get what I paid for the Duratracs but at least I will get something back to mitigate the cost.

You probably won't be able to find anyone to do a direct swap without having to pay for a new set of tires but you can certainly take the removed tires with you and try your luck at craigslist.
