I'll be honest, I live in NYC. There isn't much off roading around here. I'm looking at snow, hills, snowy hills, and maybe some dirt to drive on to get out of traffic. Nothing like climbing mountains if anything.
driving on dirt to get around traffic? hope you have runflat tires for all the wine, and beer bottles youre going to encounter in all the vacant building lots
Don't forget the electronically controller limited slip - I got kind of burned on that... I though the only differences where the skid plates, tires, two hooks not so... I really wanted the limited slip diff.
You can only get the limited slip with the hemi option. I thought it would be something that I needed/wanted as well but you really don't. I have took my Laredo (with the off road package) out in several cow fields and put it in some rough places and the brake control system works great! Put it in situations where my Z71 chevy likes to get hung up and as soon as one of the tires started to slip the other side would gain traction and off I would go. Again, very impressed with the brack control system they are using to do what a limited slip also does.
