Re: Off road1 package
Get the skid plates. Cheap insurance. You never know when you run into a situation like in Atlanta on Tues and Wed where the only hope you have of getting home is to go off road, through the median, yards, and sidewalks
to get home and avoid the knuckleheads. My girlfriend's sister who lives in the suburbs of SE of Atlanta had to do this to get home to her kids in her Wrangler Rubicon. She called me for advice and I said just take it slow and avoid anything that is shiny. Dull is your friend for traction. She got home in about 3 hrs but her next door neighbor didnt get home until 3am Wed. Neighbor works in different building on same govt facility. She was driving over curbs and down medians etc to avoid all the folks who were stuck. No LE to speak of they were all at the Krispy Creme or the local diner staying warm. Her commute normally is about 35 minutes.
You probably have to do a special order to get the ORA I. Air suspension has a very rough and stiff ride at its highest setting. Maybe one day the GC will have a more sophisticated that combines the best features of air suspension along with something similar to GM magnetic ride Vette suspension.
