Re: Official 2014 photos released!

I think I have to see this in person. When I saw the camo version i didn't think i'd like it. After seeing these pictures, it doesn't look that bad. Looking forward to seeing it in person. The interior is pretty awesome. I have a 2012 Limited so I doubt I will be upgrading until the next update (2017-18?) at the earliest.

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

Now all we need are prices and the option list. Do agree the wheels are not great - Laredo wheel looks a steel wheel from a 1970 Cutlass. Am interested in a diesel.

Is interesting that first thingyou see is 30 mpg when the diesel is not available - or did that change ?

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

Just saw the unveiling of the Jeep on Jeep's website. I love the headlights and tail lights on the SRT compared to the Grand Cherokees. The darkened lights really look awesome.

I still cannot get over the smiley face.

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

So now after watching some videos I will admit im kind of liking what I see more and more. Like most new vehicles it takes a while for people to adapt to the changes, but eventually they do and im sure most on here will really like the WK2.5

I was pleased to see LED turn signals (atleast on the high end models) Sweet!

My only gripe about the interior is that enormous shifter. Its weird that most manufacturers are eliminating shifters all together which I think is awesome, but here Jeep is with one the side of a football on the center console lol.

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

What happened to sport mode on Selecterrain? Love dialing to that setting and use it daily...And not bein able to turn on the heated wheel, seats and seat ventilation by button is not nearly as user friendly. There are certain things I would rather have buttons for.

On the other hand, maybe its incorporation will allow the ability to set the temps in which these features turn on with remote start.

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

Well, I was wrong about the Overland. It looks to have the same painted trim as the Summit. Sucks for off-roading.

I bought my current Overland because of the great interior (love the leather-wrapped dash), and the off-road capability - skid plates, QDII, etc. It will be disappointing if the 2014's do not have a comparable model. I do not like the interior of the Trailhawk.

Also somewhat strange that the "Sport" option is gone. I hope that is simply because they are providing the same functionality some other way. I also don't see the Tow/Haul button.

I think the Sport mode has been moved to a button or paddle on the steering wheel or something.

Absolutly, totally disagree with your statement. I love my 11. I had fully planned to buy a 14 for a few reasons. I want the 8 speed, the larger center display, the sexy gauges. Basically the whole interior is awesome. I just cant get over the exterior. It does nothing for me

Well...looking at the steering wheel pics there isnt a button on the front. I cant imagine they would hide such a button behind the wheel....but I guess its possible.

Re: Official 2014 photos released!

Yeah... i do see a "D/S" on the shifter. Not sure how you put the system to "Sport". Since it is all electronic, maybe tap it to the side and it goes to "Sport" mode?
