teye is on a distinguished road
oil type

So what's everyone using in the v6, 5w30 ?? What brand and what subtype ie Mobil 1 standard or ep etc etc. also I can confirm again that 98 fuel makes a noticeable difference to response I put in 95 last week and filled up today on 98 I could literally feel the difference once it came through in a km or so it's certainly the timing advancing a little.

Re: oil type

Yeah, if your running higher grade fuel than whats required is doing nothing for your engine for economy or performance. There are people out there that still think higher grade fuel has anything to do with performance? If you have a vehicle thats designed to run on premium fuels then yes its a performance issue, but certainly not the other way around.

Re: oil type

2011-2012 V6 requires 5W-30
2013+ V6 requires 5W-20

Not really sure what Chrysler did to the 2013 V6 to warrant an oil grade change.

I'm currently using a full synthetic, Castrol Edge w/Titanium 5W-30.
