Omg. Bizzzzzzzard

Just wanted to throw that out there for my NJ/NY heads. 20-30 inches in the city and there is a good chance I might take a little run around with my rig.. Anyone interested?

Re: Omg. Bizzzzzzzard

Must be nice. We've barely gotten any snow. I swapped out the stock tires last winter for a set of silent armors and have barely been able to test them since. We were supposed to get 2-3 last night. We didn't get anything at all. I need my regular Wisconsin blizzard!

LOL... Tony, you can keep your blizzard in your part of the state, I don't need it in mine.

I don't miss shoveling and it's one less day of snow and another day closer to spring.

I'm "ready" for what falls from the sky...had a "Flemington Fluids Frolic" this morning and picked up a full tank of gasoline ($1.85), ten gallons of diesel (for my Kubota tractor) and two bottles of 14-Hands Cabernet to warm up after plowing.

Re: Omg. Bizzzzzzzard

Supposed to get slammed here in New Brunswick Canada from the same system. Maine has issued blizzard warnings. I just dug the yard out of the foot of snow we got last night. I have and apt that I must travel 1.5hrs to Tuesday morning. Should be fun. Jeep is fantastic is the snow though. The only thing it can't overcome is visibility.

Actually, I'm not complaining about this winter. We've had a lot of snow and cold but the snow's only coming 1-3 inches at a time so it makes shoveling it a lot easier. We've actually had no snow cover a couple of times (Christmas being one of those) as the weather got warm enough to melt what was on the ground.

Compared to last winter, this is easy street! Hope it continues that way until spring.

Yea, the snow is one thing, but you're right, Tony...the expected winds are going to be double nasty!

What about food? Eh, who the hell needs that when you have a few bottles of the red.

Re: Omg. Bizzzzzzzard

I mean, I have had her for almost 2 years and I don't think she has seen more than 2 inches of snow...either in stock form or with the new shoes on.. So, we shall see..

Jim, you're right though, the blowing stuff is supposed to hit 30-40 with 50 possible.. All I know is even though my father has a monster of a snow thrower (still calls it his best investment for the last 15 years) I would rather me do it than him.. He is in NJ and I am in NY but I think if I head out around 9 and head back in by 11 or so, I should be ok
