Once Bitten, Twice Shy...

...but here we go again.

Trying my luck with a new 2016 JGC Limited. I'm cautiously optimistic and will report all new experiences.

Options are sunroof, 8.4 (non-nav) and 20" rims. My dealer had a somewhat limited (no pun intended) selection but I liked this color and it's similar to what I would have picked anyways.

Re: Once Bitten, Twice Shy...

My 2014 JGC Laredo was an amalgam of.... issues. Most consistent was the balky transmission with rough shifts from 1-2-3-4 when cold which was never fixed. A collection of recalls, indifferent service department, and poorly executed "fixes" still couldn't dampen my enthusiasm for the platform and driving experience.

In a nutshell, the WK2 is arguably the best-looking and driving affordable mid-size SUV out there... Hopefully the odds will even out for me and I will now get "one of the good ones".

I'll keep ya posted!

Nice Jeep. I've had that color for the last 14 months and I never get tired of looking at it.

Good luck with the new rig MichiganRich. Here's to hoping two years of refinement has worked out all the major issues!

Nice looking rig, there. I too had issues with a 2014 JGC but agree with you, "the WK2 is arguably the best-looking and driving affordable mid-size SUV out there", so I now have a 2016 and am hoping the bugs have been worked out.

Good luck with yours. Good luck with ours!
