LOL....I just talked to BOTH dealers about the Overlands and both want $5k over sticker....LOLOLOLOLOLOL. I told the guys to talk a long, slow walk off a short cliff.
The Overlands with QL, QD2, 20" wheels and rear dvd are RARE around here for some reason......in any color

both the local dealers have Overlands with no QL...so they must be asking too much for them. They also have the huge sunroof and no rear dvd

I don't know if Porsche dealers stick on added profit like that; I've read they aren't known for dealing much, but there's a limit to what a maker like that is willing to allow.

The Grand Cherokee, even in the Overland trim, is a full production vehicle. Not limited production, but they'll make as many as they can. Their popularity at the moment is providing opportunity for these dealers to stick it to buyers, but only a fool will pay over MSRP and then return to the dealer for anything; if they're willing to put the screws to you when you buy, what might they do in the service department?

I've only seen a couple vehicles on dealer lots with extra profit clearly tacked on to the dealer sticker. I've never set foot on those lots ever again, and that isn't going to change.

All automobile dealers are willing to deal. It depends on what they have, how long they've had it and when they need to move it. On my Porsche the dealer started at $10k below MSRP and I negotiated from there.

I've only paid above MSRP once, my first car, and will never do it again. As in any negotiation you need to understand what the deal is worth and be ready and willing to walk away.

On the Jeep my wife did the negotiating because I wasn't willing to walk.
