Go to the Jeep website and build a Limited. QDII will appear as part of ORAII equipment if you've selected the diesel or V8. It won't if you've selected the V6 gas.

Of course, the accuracy of that may not be 100% compared to actually trying to order it.

Both of those build sheets are for a Limited diesel with ORAII... neither list QDII. So you may very well be correct.

ORA II - Not all created equal?

I think the key difference is if you get the V6, you don't get the rear ELSD.

That's correct... the ELSD is part of QDII, which is not available with the V6 gas. To get it on the V8 or diesel requires ORAII.

I forgot to add that I believe QDII is standard on the SRT.

That matches my understanding as well.

Now then, why are there two different prices for ORAII on otherwise equivalent machines? Both Limited's, both diesels.

I have a 14 limited v8 with tow package (220 amp) and QD-II with elsd and quadra lift. So it is possible.
I could not get the links to work for me but there are two off road packages ORA-I and ORA-II which are about the difference in price u are seeing. ORA-I is just QT-II with no elsd, no quadra lift, and the tow package can be added to it with out the 220 amp alternator.

Yes V8 and QD is possible, we get that. 3.6 QD is not. Must have diesel or V8.

The two packages referenced in the links both CLEARLY state ORA-II. One is $2495, the other $1795.

Re: ORA II - Not all created equal?

Does the ORA I come with skid plates? That may be the difference.

Again, we're NOT talking about ORA-I. There are two different prices, both for ORA-II.

The only difference I see is the alternator. It's possible that there are other changes that come along with the 220 amp alternators. If you could get the "build sheets" (You linked to window stickers) the added details might point you in the right direction.

Re: ORA II - Not all created equal?

LOL... I'm still trying to figure out the "unavailable with some configurations" part.

I can't see any difference between those two window stickers.
