Ordered day after Memorial Day, drove it home day after Fourth of July - my summer holiday Jeep
Only (tiny) issue I found was rear hatch lift handle molding gap others have reported. Never would have noticed it without knowing to look for it. Everything else, trim alignment, fit and finish seems, dare I say it, perfect.
I only drove it about 15 miles but shifting seems fine in all three modes and using paddles. Has plenty of power for me but then my other car is a Prius. I was amazed I got 24.7 mpg driving home from the dealer with a brand new car and me goosing it a few times.
Spent a hour sitting in the garage fooling around with the EVIC settings and radio. (Seems wrong to call that thing 'just' a radio). Paired my iPhone 5 in about 2 seconds. Still a lot to learn and did not try voice recognition yet but.... this thing is way cool.
Kudos to St Clair (Michigan) Jeep for making this a painless process. My BS detector went off when I saw they had installed wheel locks without asking but the salesman said "don't worry, they're no extra charge but we will take them off if you don't want them". Zero pressure to buy extra warranty, etc and zero percent financing with Chrysler arranged with a 3 minute phone call earlier in the day. This is a small town dealer that depends on repeat business and reputation and it shows.
And lastly, gotta post a pic
