Holdback is 3% of $41,380 - $995 =$40,385 x .03 = $1211.55
Dealer gets 2% off invoice if I use affiliates program
$39,493 x .02 = $789.86
$1211.55 + $789.86 = $2001.41
So, I have $2001.41, or a little more than 5% of invoice, in negotiating room/power from the invoice price of $39,493, before the dealership starts losing money on the deal? Assuming no trade or other hidden fee's where they might make money.
