Let's hear what you might order as the banks open up tomorrow!!

I have 0 intention of buying now, but my preferred 2014 would be the following:

Trim: Limited
Ext Color: Black Forest Green
Int color: Black
Engine: EcoDiesel
Options: Off-road Adventure I Group, Trailer Tow Group IV, Nine speaker w/sub + 8.4" Uconnect w/Nav

I may, just may look at trading in my 2011 for a 2014 sometime at the end of this year. Probably get a good deal at the end of the year.

We have similar tastes, pretty much exactly my spec except in max steel.

On the fence with the lux group, but that panoramic sunroof would be nice (have similar in the wife's car)

If it is true that the CRD will get the Quadra Drive II as standard, then finally you can get the electronic locking diff system without the weight/complexity/potential issues of the quadra lift system.

Now I have my fingers crossed that the CEOs of Fiat and VW/Audi keep fighting so that special VW owner incentive keeps showing up all year...

Bump! I know there are more than this that ordered

Not buying...just did that a few months ago...but if I were buying an MY14 JGC, it would have to be the Summit. But as I've indicated previously, the lack of a lighter color interior is disappointing...

Limited 4X4
Diesel
Adv Tech Grp
LuxPkg II (w/RA4)
Off-Road Adv I (not II due to QL worries)
TowPkg IV
Cashmere Ext. Black Int. (and for those Cashmere haters out there: Here's a full cup of haterade and a lid....now SHUT THE FULL CUP!!!)

So far: $49,380 MSRP (inv= -7% then deal to 1% below that = $45,500. Should drive away under $45K)

Dream Build:
Overland 4X4
All Lux & Tech features
Off-Road Adv II (with a warranty that covers QL for life)
Goodyear Silent Armor Kevlar Tires
No sunroof (adding roof-rack with flood lights later)
Cashmere ext. Indigo-Blue/Brown int.

Hard to say... was pretty sold on a summit, but overland is 4K bellow including the advanced tech group!

So 4k for headlight washers, adaptative hid, trailer town group and a few cosmetics!

I think I will end up with

Overland 4x4
Advanced Tech Group
5.7L V8
Red Cherry / Black or Black / Black

right now $45724 a little over 5% bellow inv

You get towing on the Overland, it is standard. You got an offer of 5% under invoice? That is a great deal then

#11 ·
Just double check if that price includes the $995 destination fee.. But overall, a very good price

#14 ·
It should, but haven't been there. Going tomorrow AM. But website says price 50880 which includes destination, sale price on the website is 45724, so I believe there is no catch and destination is included.

Now, I'm wondering why the summit says it has the trailer town group and overland doesn't say anything! But anyway, I'm not towing anything other than a bike carrier... so why would I care! I'm just sticking a hitch ball to keep people away :)

One other thing to check is that price isn't with all the incentives that you would need to be able to get. Some dealers do that to get people in the door. Oh ya, we will sell for this great price but that's if your eligible for all the incentives out there.

#18 ·
That's a good catch! But here that's usually their AS-LOW-AS price, sale price is what everyone would get with no rebates or incentives, the AS-LOW-AS price which brings the price down a grand more would include stuff like owners discount, military discounts.

mfa81, where are you located? Curious if you are in MA and seeing the price at the same dealer as I am.
I'm in Idaho, Boise area. Had been to a dealer this afternoon, the one with 4% down from invoice price and I let him now that this is going on all over the place, so he wouldn't come saying the price is a huge deal! I would say the same for him, a price advertised in the website as a sale price still have room for negotiation or at least freebies!

I have my dealer looking for a white Overland with Blue interior and no options. If he don't find one by May 31 when my $500 certificate expires, I will be ordering one. He does have a granite with black coming in but I don't like black interiors. Might also consider the Max Steel with blue interior. Al

I worked out a great (really great) deal on my 14 Overland. I was pretty easy to deal with, and so were they. But, I intentionally told them I wanted a color option that I knew they didn't have but also knew there was another dealer in their system that had one. I worked out the entire deal on an Overland with no tech package. We went back and forth on trade and difference etc, which I hate more than anything, but its part of the game. After we worked it all out I said I had been thinking about it and wondered if they could give me the one on their lot in different color but with the tech package for the same price. They ended up doing it, so I think I did great. I am very happy with it and am still playing with all the dodads in it. Quite a leap from a Wrangler...lol. I will most definitely be getting an SRT when they refresh in MY16, but couldn't take that much out of the bank this go around as we are buying/building a new house.
