Outside temperature gauge stuck at 59

Anyway to unstuck it? it's 65 degrees out now. That's what it should be saying instead of 59.

Play some Barry White. That will get it to 69.

From there, it will continue to rise until it finally reaches normal operation....

Ah, maybe that only works on the Summit...

Perhaps the audio book version of "Fifty Shades of Grey" might do it?

All kidding aside, if you're definitely looking at the outside temp instead of the inside setting, you may have to perform a reset by pulling the battery cable - unless someone knows how to reboot U-Connect without going through that. I believe there's a specific button combination that does it.

Not sure what year you have but there is a TSB BCM update flash that fixes the screwy external temp sensor readings you can check to see if it applies to you. Also agree with battery cable pull that can fix electrical gremlins sometimes

Just disconnect the battery wait ten seconds and connect again?

That means all my settings get erased?

I haven't driven the car that much. Maybe in have to break it in? I'm pretty sure it was working 2 days ago.

Id do it a little longer like half hour. Only thing that erases that i have seen is the equalizer settings. If its that new give it a few days first see how it goes

Unfortunately, I believe that is the case. I'm hoping someone might chime in on whether there's a way to simply reboot the system.

I think the folks in the Lockpick thread have done it when the software didn't take.
