geez!!!!!

Our 4x4 Hemi Overland is still in D1 status. Ordered mid August
Not a bad idea considering the 2012 JGC is slated to get the 8spd transmission from everything we've gathered here.

Seriously, we might do this.

Re: Overland 4x4 Restriction

I really hope you all get your orders soon. I can imagine the anxiety and anger.

I'm so luckily to have found exactly what I wanted on the lot . I was thinking about Blind Spot monitoring and that made me hold off on an order. Then I happen to be on-line checking inventory and found my WK2 at a dealer in a nearby city. I went over at 8pm that night and they were closed . Walked around the lot and saw this Overland in the back separate from all the other WK2s up front. It was exactly as what I've been building online: White/Beige, 5.7L, 4x4, Q-L, 730N . Next morning (Saturday) I went in, found out it was available and bought it immediately. Got a great deal with my trade-in.

Today makes exactly one week with it and I'm really enjoying this Jeep. It's my 4th Grand Cherokee over the past 16 years and THE BEST Jeep to date.

It's the QL provider having a hard time keeping up since the O-lands made it standard equipment. More than 4 dealers here are all saying the same thing.

Two are now saying that while they are now able to take O-land orders, Jeep still has no idea when the cars will hit the assembly line.

Overland = Unicorn

If you happened to have one, guard it vigilantly.

Re: Overland 4x4 Restriction

I HAVE noticed a reduction in Quadra-Lift production lately.

So that just might be true.

Re: Overland 4x4 Restriction

Both the Overland 4x4 and the Limited 4x4 models are on restriction for new orders.

This may be your total hold-up. The tech package isn't due to start production until I think December, and the saddle was also pushed back. Check here ***JeepGarage Exclusive***Latest information and updates on the "WK2" Grand Cherokee

You may be right, but that wasn't the information I got, I was told by Jeep that it (tech package) was scheduled for production mid sept and that the saddle was october....but then again, they haven't been right much here lately.

Re: Overland 4x4 Restriction

And by the way, Lisa just called me and said my 9/21 ordered overland will not be built in october, that they are at full production and she will have more information toward the end of the month on if it's going to be built in nov.

How did you find someone at Jeep actually willing to talk to you about what's going on?

Toby wasn't nearly as helpful (although he 'sounded' helpful), and Suzie was downright rude.
